tonight's the show at DUNES w/ Modernstate and A John Henry Memorial.
I've been working a new job and had to ask them kindly if i could reschedule a training shift so that i could spend some time getting ready for it.. been kind of running myself ragged this week, but a lot of it has felt really good. last night at the chevron / we quit / kickball / ghost to falco show, jessica jones said she thought it would be nice to play some jessica jones and dragging an ox shows together. i definitely agreed, and suggested that we might invite bird costumes and tunnels to play a show at valentine's. it's in the works. expect an update before long. Daniel bird costumes and I talked last night, too, and i guess he got a pretty nice recording of both of our sets (we sorta collaborated at the end of mine and the beginning of his) from the red76 show.. we might put out kind of a split cd-r of sorts along with a bonus collaboration track. we're also planning on heading down to eugene and california together for a few shows.

I've been running into some people who were at the red76 basement show and they've had very nice things to say. thanks for saying them. and for coming. tonight will be fun. i'ma use a drum.
